Job summary

CityVet Alamo Heights is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the facility in its entirety, including business management, financial management and clinical operations, and to ensure the highest level of client experience and staff efficiency.

The position requires knowledge of safety standards and regulations governing veterinary clinics; a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety standards (state and federal).
• Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable, but not required.
• High school diploma/GED + 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, onboard, train, and supervise facility staff to align with role responsibilities and career paths.
• Continuous staff development through training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Monitor and maintain quality control of daily operations, client care, and client records.

Education
