Job summary

The Pet Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, finance, HR, marketing, and IT management to ensure profitable and patient-centered care.

You’ll partner with the MDVM, lead a diverse team, and drive client satisfaction through strong operations and strategic planning. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive salary and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary practice management preferred.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage schedules.
• Knowledge of budgeting and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance, putting plans in place and engaging teams around activities that drive revenue for growth.
• Manages practice expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facility.
• Ensures appropriate inventory management including an appropriate balance of regular stock and sales.
• Manages and partners with MDVM to ensure accurate pricing is applied.
• Provides input during annual budget planning.
• Creates new or analyzes existing performance reports and generates insights to improve performance.
• Applies knowledge and understanding of veterinary practice management in directing successful daily operations, thereby allowing the doctors and technicians the time to successfully manage workload.
• Ensures that all practice technology is appropriately working.
• Supports compliance with regulatory agencies and safety standards.
