BluePearl Pet Hospital in Matthews, NC is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a busy emergency and specialty hospital. You will mentor and lead a 30+ person team to deliver premier customer service and patient care while partnering with doctors and staff to drive growth and profitability.

The role requires 3–5 years of management experience, a Bachelor’s degree (CVPM a plus), and strong organizational, HR, and financial skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CVPM designation a plus.
• 3–5 years of proven success in managing professionals in complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, develop and lead a mix of 30+ hourly and professional team members to excel and become a successful team focused on patient care.
• Partner and oversee the doctor team, medical team, and client service representatives, guiding them to the next level of development.
• Guide the financial and strategic business development to achieve hospital profitability.
• Expertly handle the primary care DVM and patient referral base with a high level of sensitivity.
• Develop intra‑staff relationships with a command of HR‑related issues and state, federal, local legal compliance of relevant employment law.
• Partake in additional responsibilities relative to the position.
