Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, veterinary animal care, or general hospital setting.
• Strong mathematical skills for compounding and dosing.
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accurately reads and understands medication compounds and calculates dilutions based on patient size/weight.
• Uses equipment such as torsion balance, scales, capsule packing machine, peristaltic pump, filtration systems, and autoclave.
• Completes detailed records and logs of procedures, compounding, and billing in the computer system.
