Job description

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Patient Care Coordinator to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Pay: $22.00 - $31.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through leveling system.

As a Veterinary Patient Care Coordinator, you will:

  1. Act as a liaison between the front and back of the hospital by facilitating client/patient flow, triaging calls, and coordinating communication.
  2. Monitor waiting and exam rooms, assist with refreshments and marketing materials, and update clients on wait times and patient status.
  3. Coordinate patient flow between multiple specialties and manage hospital census.
  4. Facilitate discharge appointments and perform patient discharges in coordination with the technical team.
  5. Manage patient discharge/visit boards and exam rooms to ensure timely and comfortable visits and discharges.
  6. Check message bins, triage messages, and facilitate solutions for clients.
  7. Handle patient care calls from the public and follow-up with ER clients for feedback.
