Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks a full-time, tenure-track Instructor to teach Veterinary Nursing courses in the Health-Related Professions Department. The successful candidate will teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical rotations, collaborate with the Program Director, and adapt to a flexible schedule across multiple locations, primarily in-person with potential online instruction.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree is required.
• Must be licensed or eligible for Nevada veterinary licensure.
• Two years of full-time professional experience as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Advise students as needed.
• Instruct veterinary didactic courses, laboratories, and supervise clinical rotations.
• Perform clinical duties in the CSN Veterinary Nursing Teaching Clinic.
• Maintain student records (grades, attendance, exams, assignments, competencies).
• Maintain current knowledge of general veterinary medicine procedures and techniques.
