Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a Veterinary Nurse Instructor. This role entails advising and instructing students in didactic courses and laboratories, as well as supervising students during clinical rotations. The instructor will perform clinical duties at the CSN Veterinary Nursing Teaching Clinic and maintain comprehensive student records.

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or similar degree, be licensed in Nevada, and have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical or educational setting. Teaching experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Current license as a veterinarian or veterinary technician (nurse) in Nevada.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in clinical practice or education.
• Previous teaching experience in veterinary medicine preferred.
