Job summary

Coral Springs Animal Hospital in South Florida is expanding its Inventory services and seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to streamline the acquisition, distribution, and sale of medical and office supplies.

You will monitor daily inventory, partner with vendors for pricing and on-time delivery, manage service contracts and invoices, and work with the Hospital Administrator to optimize cost and efficiency while supporting exceptional veterinary care.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory concepts: lead time, turnover, redundancy.
• Experience evaluating reorder points and safety stock.
• Ability to implement LEAN strategies.
• Able to routinely lift 40 pounds.
• Available Monday through Friday.
• Familiarity with veterinary products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage acquisition, distribution, and sale of medical and office supplies.
• Oversee daily inventory levels and restock critical items.
• Collaborate with vendors for pricing and on-time delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for equipment repairs and replacements.
• Maintain service contracts and process vendor invoices.
• Support strategic purchasing decisions with Hospital Administrator.
