Job summary

Allentown Animal Care in Allentown, PA seeks an experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of our veterinary hospital. You will partner with the Lead Veterinarian and Community Veterinary Partners to support the team, deliver excellent client service, and meet hospital goals.

Responsibilities include leading and developing staff, coordinating hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management, managing inventory and purchasing, and ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

• 4+ years of veterinary hospital management experience; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• College education preferred.
• Veterinary practice management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hospital team members.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee daily hospital operations, facility needs, inventory, and equipment.
• Address client concerns and promote a positive patient and client experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Partner with hospital leadership on budgeting, financial performance, payroll, and purchasing.
• Support marketing, community outreach, and client communication efforts.
• Manage administrative systems, meetings, and other hospital processes.
• Work occasional hospital shifts as needed.
