You will partner with the Medical Director to own daily operations, drive growth, and lead by example—stepping into front desk or clinical support when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership, business management, or operations management experience required.
• Veterinary hospital management experience strongly preferred; medical/dental/healthcare practice management also considered.
• Previous veterinary experience (e.g., Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or CSR) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, CVPM, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing budgets, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficient with business software and able to adapt quickly to new systems.
• Comfort stepping into a client-facing or clinical support role when needed

Responsibilities

• Monitor hospital performance and budgets; oversee payroll and finances.
• Oversee workflow, regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), and inventory.
• Develop and execute long-term strategic goals; expand services and partnerships.
• Lead daily operations, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
• Oversee marketing strategies and client experience to drive retention.
• Manage department leads and staffing; promote a positive workplace culture.
• Step in at the front desk or clinical floor when operationally needed.
