Job summary

Cary Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead daily operations, drive growth, and ensure top-tier patient care and client service. This role reports to the hospital management team and requires on-site presence to coordinate clinical and administrative activities.

You will oversee finances, personnel, and processes, partnering with the Managing Veterinarian to sustain profitability and build a culture of excellence and compassion in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and be accountable for hospital performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast hospital needs and trends.
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee inventory, costs, and payroll.
• Develop schedules and manage labor costs while guiding process improvements.
• Foster best practices, lead change, and uphold exceptional client service.
