VCA Franklin Park Animal Hospital in Franklin Park, IL is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead client services and hospital operations. You will guide staff, manage budgets, and partner with the Medical Director to maintain high-quality patient care and exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer service and budget management experience.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
• Ability to make decisions, delegate, and achieve results with the team.
• Professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Respect for clients and their pets; able to handle changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop veterinary, technical and administrative staff toward quality care and client service.
• Oversee hiring, reviewing, disciplining and termination of staff with Regional Management approval.
• Review P&L monthly; partner with Medical Director to increase revenue and control costs.
• Prepare annual budget with home office and participate in budget evaluations with Regional Management.
• Model an owner mindset and ensure smooth operation of the hospital.
• Minimize patient stress and refer to specialists when needed for prognosis.
• Maintain client/patient records and assist with follow-up and management.
• Supervise handling of client medical complaints and responses.
• Represent the hospital positively in the professional community and public.
