National Veterinary Associates, Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager for Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton to lead daily operations, ensure top-notch patient care, and provide outstanding client service.

This role emphasizes profitability, staff leadership, and a collaborative hospital culture in a hands-on, on-site capacity. Ideal candidates have leadership experience in veterinary medicine, strong financial acumen, and a commitment to exceptional customer experiences for our clients

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting with increasing responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L for the hospital and be accountable for performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast needs and trends.
• Manage accounts receivable and hospital revenue streams.
• Oversee inventory and control facility and administrative costs.
• Manage payroll for hospital staff and labor costs.
• Develop the hospital schedule and optimize labor efficiency.
• Champion change and share best practices across the team.
• Lead the hospital team to improve processes in patient service and operations.
• Implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Establish and drive the hospital culture of excellence.
• Track and maintain licensures for all DVMs.
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations with staff and clients.
