Job summary

Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our hospital and drive growth through strong leadership and a culture of excellence. You will oversee patient care quality, client service, and hospital operations while collaborating with senior veterinary leadership.

The role requires on-site presence, a focus on profitability, and a commitment to staff development and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of managerial experience, including customer service
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry with increasing responsibility is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own P&L for the hospital and be accountable for performance
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast hospital needs
• Manage accounts receivable and hospital inventory
• Control facility and administrative costs and payroll
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs
• Champion change and share best practices
• Lead the team to improve processes across client service and operations
• Implement new technologies to improve efficiency
• Maintain licensure for all DVMs
• Provide feedback and handle difficult conversations
• Uphold outstanding client service standards
