Healthy Paws Veterinary Center in Little Elm, TX is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead the hospital support team and partner with the veterinarian to drive efficient, profitable operations while delivering high-quality patient care and outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science or related field strongly preferred.
• At least five years of direct office management experience, including two years supervising staff.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and experience may be considered.
• Ability to provide courteous, prompt customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Establish productive working relationships and manage time effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays.
• Comfort around animals and potentially hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments and achieves labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and technical staff; handles new hire paperwork.
• Orients and trains new clinic staff to hospital operations.
• Reviews performance, provides feedback, and addresses issues weekly with Regional Manager.
• Conducts timely performance appraisals.
• Manages daily operations and budgeting; coordinates with the veterinary team.
• Oversees billing, vendor invoices, and local accounting functions.
• Ensures compliance with licensure and maintains documentation.
• Maintains inventory and oversees facility maintenance.
• Engages in problem resolution with clients when appropriate.
