Stateline Animal Clinic, a long-standing veterinary hospital in North Mississippi, seeks a Veterinary Hospital Manager to unite operational excellence with team development. You will partner with the Medical Director to guide daily operations, uphold patient care standards, and drive hospital growth.

The role emphasizes financial leadership, regulatory compliance, service expansion, and a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business management experience required.
• Veterinary experience preferred (CVT background strongly valued).
• CVPM or equivalent education preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative and servant leadership approach.
• Resilience and adeptness in handling emotionally charged situations.
• Proficiency in budget management.
• Experience with team training and supervision.
• Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new systems.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations.
• Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory.
• Develop long-term goals, expand services, and support referrals and partnerships.
• Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling and maintenance aligned with hospital objectives.
• Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns and foster retention.
• Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, ensure staffing levels.
