Thrive Pet Healthcare in Miami is seeking a Hospital Administrator with veterinary management experience to lead our Thrive Miami location. The role focuses on creating a positive culture, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving excellent patient and client care.

The Hospital Administrator oversees staff hiring/training, budgeting with Pathway finance, KPI tracking, fee setting, inventory control, and hospital software management while implementing safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary management experience and ability to lead a team
• Proven ability to analyze data to set priorities and drive operational programs
• Strong judgment and decision-making to manage hospital operations
• Experience hiring/training staff and managing budgets
• Demonstrated empathy toward clients and compassionate care for animals
• Excellent interpersonal communication and client service focus
• Experience budgeting and reading P&L statements
• Solid math and spreadsheet skills
• Three years of supervisory experience
• Preferred Bachelor's in business or related field
• Experience managing a veterinary practice preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital business activities including hiring/training staff
• Manage budgets with Pathway finance and monitor KPIs
• Set fees, maintain inventory, and control inventory systems
• Manage hospital software and ensure safety procedures
• Lead meetings and promote CQI to improve patient service and employee engagement
• Foster a positive culture with clear communication and teamwork
