Lakeside Veterinary Medicine is a two-doctor practice in Lakewood, New York, and we know that great patient care starts with a great team. We’re looking for a Veterinary Client Care Specialist who enjoys working with people, has a passion for animals, and wants to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.

As our Veterinary Client Care Specialist, you’ll be the heart of our front desk. You’ll welcome every client, keep our days running on track, and offer a compassionate presence

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary or customer service preferred.
• Training available for non-experienced applicants.
• Strong communication and empathy required.
• Comfort with computers and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets warmly and check them in and out efficiently
• Answer phones, messages, and respond to client questions with care and clarity
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar to keep the clinic on track
• Process payments, estimates, and invoices accurately
• Maintain and update medical records and client information
• Coordinate prescription and food requests with the medical team
• Communicate with veterinarians and technicians about patient flow and client needs
• Support clients during emotional moments, including difficult diagnoses
• Keep the front desk and reception area clean and organized
