Job summary

Cara Veterinary opens a brand-new Redmond hospital in late Fall 2026 and seeks a Veterinary Receptionist to help shape client experience from day one. You’ll join a growing network with training, support, and opportunities to advance, as part of a team delivering exceptional care for pets and their people.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing phones and scheduling, maintaining records, handling payments and insurance, and participating in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent people skills and empathy for clients and pets.
• Ability to manage phones, appointments, and client communications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort discussing invoices and financial questions with clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and provide empathetic service.
• Manage phone system, triage calls, and document conversations.
• Schedule appointments and collect patient data; remind and forward-book patients.
• Maintain medical records and handle correspondence; assist with housekeeping in lobby.
• Process mail, emails, and faxes; alert veterinarians to important updates.
• Assist with payments and CareCredit applications; reconcile daily transactions.
