PetVet Care Centers' Ruckersville Animal Hospital in Virginia is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist, delivering friendly, professional service to pets and clients.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7 AM–6 PM) with four 10-hour shifts, managing front-desk tasks, appointments, billing, and product information while supporting a compassionate culture of care across our hospitals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Reception experience including appointment scheduling, customer service and payments

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in-person, on the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
