Abqpetcarehospital in Stoughton, Wisconsin, is offering an externship for veterinary students seeking hands-on clinical experience in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, and assisting in surgical procedures.
This externship provides an excellent opportunity to understand the daily operations of a veterinary practice and develops valuable clinical skills. Eligible students will also receive a travel/living expense stipend.
An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. Although every NVA hospital is unique, all share a supportive environment committed to excellent medicine and exceptional service to animals and their owners.
Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education and in their clinical year are eligible for the externship. Students are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
