Job summary

Abqpetcarehospital in Chase Village is offering an externship experience for veterinary students to gain hands-on clinical skills and understand day-to-day operations. The externship lasts between two to eight weeks and includes gathering patient histories, performing exams, and assisting in surgical procedures.

Job description

An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. Program Details

• Externship duration ranges from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules.
• All veterinary students (regardless of class year) are encouraged to participate.
• Students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend. The stipend amounts and program details are available on the NVA website.
