Greywolf Veterinary Hospital is a full‑service companion and exotic animal hospital located on the Olympic peninsula, 15 minutes from Puget Sound.
Students will work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing, assisting, or performing surgical procedures, and medical management of patients. The dedicated provider for USFWS and NOAA offers unique opportunities to learn and treat these special cases.
Externship experiences typically range from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules.
Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel and living expense stipend. The stipend amount for Greywolf Veterinary Hospital is $1,500.
