Externship Overview

An externship experience at an NVA hospital provides students with the unique opportunity to understand the day‑to‑day operations of the practice and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience.

Duration

Externship experiences at Confederate Woods Veterinary Hospital typically range from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules.

Travel Stipend

An additional $500 travel stipend is offered to the amount listed for externships at this hospital.
