Ohana Veterinary Care

Ohana Veterinary Care is a small animal practice with three full‑time doctors and one relief doctor. The environment is family‑like, encouraging, and cohesive.

Externship Overview

Students will work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, and supporting surgical procedures.

Eligibility and Duration

Externship experiences range from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules.

Externships are offered to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education.

Stipend
