Externship Highlights

• Experience the full spectrum of care—from preventive medicine and diagnostics to surgical and emergency services.
• Work closely with experienced, teaching‑focused DVMs.
• Practice communication skills with clients, techs, and the veterinary team.
• Develop confidence in exams, treatment plans, dental procedures, and more.

Program Details

• Duration: minimum two weeks, up to four weeks, flexible based on your schedule.
• Eligibility: veterinary students encouraged to apply; clinical‑year students eligible for stipends.
• Travel Stipend: up to $2,500 available for third‑ and fourth‑year students (clinical portion).
