Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Willingness to pursue further education in veterinary field.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceuticals and basic lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room with cleaning, stocking and disinfection.
• relay patient history to veterinarian prior to exam.
• Assist doctor with examinations and restraint.
• Perform vaccines, blood draws and administration of medications.
• Input invoices and run billing per BVH process.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments when needed.
