Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Paramus, NJ is seeking experienced Veterinary Technician Shift Leads to coordinate daily ER operations, guide teams, and ensure top-tier patient care during busy shifts. You’ll mentor VEGgies, run huddles, manage workflow, and collaborate with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as veterinary technician or assistant; emergency/specialty experience preferred.
• Credentialed technicians encouraged; VEG Credentialing Support Program is available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift rhythm and patient flow to ensure top-tier care.
• Lead huddles, rounds, and on-the-floor coaching during shifts.
• Assign and adapt shift roles with clarity and care.
• Step in on the floor to support any task as needed.
• Coordinate breaks and conflict resolution while modeling calm under pressure.
