Veterinary Emergency Group in Green Bay, WI seeks a Customer Experience Coordinator (Per Diem) to define the customer journey across in-person, phone, and digital channels. You’ll greet customers, manage communications, and help guide families through payments and care decisions in a fast-paced ER setting.

You’ll collaborate with nursing staff and doctors to ensure a seamless experience, while delivering personalized service and maintaining patient privacy in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
• Advanced proficiency with computer programs and practice management software.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with all customers.
• Ability to multitask and thrive amid chaos.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to read a room.
• Adaptable in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with warmth and urgency in person, over the phone, or online.
• Manage all customer communications (calls, emails, texts) and route urgent medical calls quickly.
• Deliver personalized, memorable experiences and find ways to say yes to needs.
• Listen with empathy, resolve concerns quickly, anticipate issues.
• Keep nursing team and doctors updated on customer needs for seamless care.
• Provide confidential guidance on financial options and end-of-life decisions.
• Process payments accurately while protecting information.
• Follow up with customers after visits to check on pet care.
• Capture special moments and strengthen connections between customers, pets, and hospital.
