Basic knowledge of cell culture techniques and animal diseases; willingness to gain more knowledge.
May need to work occasionally on weekends/holidays.
Minimum of two years of related working experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct analyses according to standard operating procedures.
Prepare buffers and other solutions.
Maintain and store specimens.
Report testing issues immediately upon detection.
Log in samples, finalize lab results, report processing and filing.
Assist administratively as needed (phones, data entry, ordering supplies, shipping samples).
