Job summary

Belmont Shore Veterinary Hospital in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) Lead to oversee front desk operations and elevate the client experience. The position offers $21–$26/hour with full benefits.

You will lead CSRs, ensure exceptional veterinary client service, manage scheduling, check-in/out, phones, and EMR systems while training and mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• Veterinary experience required in a clinic, hospital, or similar setting.
• Experience as CSR Lead or Front Desk Supervisor preferred.
• Strong client communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership skills.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software (Avimark, eVet, Cornerstone).
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with paperless workflows and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise CSRs at the front desk.
• Ensure exceptional veterinary client service.
• Manage front desk workflow: check-in/out, phones, scheduling, client communication.
• Train, mentor, and support CSR team members.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure care.
• Maintain an accurate EMR/paperless records.
