Job summary

Akron-Medina Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort in Medina, OH is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver an exceptional client experience, manage front desk operations, and maintain medical records. The role partners with Doctors and the practice team to ensure smooth appointment flow and accurate data entry.

You will process payments, schedule appointments, reflect updates in client files, and send reminders. Weekend availability may be required; veterinary experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must deliver exceptional client experiences; front desk and reception duties.
• Experience with veterinary records and practice processes preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing procedures as directed.
• Maintain clean and presentable public areas including front desk and waiting areas.
• Process payments and manage accounts as needed.
• Schedule clinic appointments according to Doctor preferences.
• Update client/patient files and send client correspondence.
• Send reminders and conduct recalls to clients on schedule.
• Backup computer system and daily posting duties.
• Welcome clients with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensure a positive visit.
• Answer incoming calls with proper etiquette and assist with take-home materials.
• Handle emergencies following clinic policies and procedures.
• Address client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
