Job summary

Pacific Northwest Pet ER & Specialty Center in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support client communication and hospital operations in a busy veterinary setting. The role involves facilitating clear, timely updates between clients, referral veterinarians, and the clinical team to maintain high standards of patient care.

You will assist in medical records, scheduling, and cross-department coordination while participating in rotating holiday shifts for overnight and weekend

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience are required.
• Proficiency with computers and hospital information systems is expected.
• 1–2 years of veterinary medicine experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and transcribing medical records for patients.
• Communicate with clients about estimates, discharges, and patient updates.
• Coordinate with departments to prevent delays and keep clients informed of wait times.
• Assist with overflow calls and patient care as needed.
• Discharge patients and ensure records are sent to primary care veterinarians.
