MedVet is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Doctor Coordinator for overnight coverage. You will support ER doctors, manage workflow, and coordinate scheduling, tests, and referrals in a fast-paced emergency setting. Excellent communication and veterinary background are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required.
• Emergency experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports specific doctor(s) for a given shift; may support different doctors within a department at different times.
• Ensures follow through of departmental workflow for the supported doctor(s).
• Collaborates on scheduling of consults, transfers, and diagnostics.
• Drafts medical record documentation for supported doctor(s). Creates initial patient history, documents initial vitals and treatment orders, and letters for review.
