Job summary

MSPCA-Angell in Centerville, MA is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to lead the clinic team on site in partnership with the Lead Veterinarian. This full-time role focuses on staff supervision, efficient workflow, and delivering high-quality care to animals in shelter and community programs.

The Supervisor will mentor staff, assist veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures, and ensure compassionate, low-stress handling throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of veterinary practice experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Certified veterinary technician (CVT) through MVTA or eligible for out-of-state reciprocity is preferred.
• Fear-free certification or completion within the first 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign work for clinic staff including veterinary students and volunteers.
• Assist veterinarians and other team members with medical and surgical procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in animal restraint and low-stress handling.
• Monitor flow of patient care and redirect staff as needed during shifts.
• Train and mentor staff to maintain high care standards.
