Job summary

MSPCA-Angell Cape Adoption Center seeks a dedicated Community Clinic Coordinator to oversee and coordinate spay/neuter and medical care services at our Cape Community Clinic. You will serve as the primary client contact, manage appointments, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accessible, affordable veterinary care for families in need.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an animal shelter, animal clinic, or similar setting.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service or social service role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• De-escalation skills with emotional clients.
• Knowledge of dog/cat care and a love for animals and people.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients to coordinate and communicate services at the Cape Community Clinic.
• Assess financial need and approve veterinary services for low income pets.
• Coordinate complex medical cases with clients and staff.
• Coordinate clinic workflow, schedule appointments, and manage intake and discharge.
• Collaborate with staff to determine mission-centric program needs.
• Train and supervise volunteers to streamline intake, discharge, and care services.
• Inventory veterinary supplies and perform related duties.
