Job summary

The MSPCA-Angell Clinic on Cape Cod, MA is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to lead the clinic team in partnership with the Lead Veterinarian and to ensure high-quality animal care for shelter animals and patients in the low-cost public program.

This full-time role emphasizes people management, operational flow, and mentoring of staff, veterinary students, and volunteers, with duties including assisting veterinarians, maintaining patient care, and supporting sustainable veterinary operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years veterinary practice experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Fear-free certification or completion within the first 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinic staff and assigns work to align with services.
• Assists veterinarians and staff with medical and surgical procedures.
• Demonstrates low-stress handling and animal restraint expertise.
• Maintains smooth patient care flow and coordinates shifts.
• Partners with leadership to improve operations and sustainability.
