The position requires flexible availability with 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am shifts. A friendly demeanor and strong customer service skills are essential for success in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or veterinary setting preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to accurately manage and prioritize tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care, with a compassionate and caring attitude towards pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with a friendly demeanor and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assess patients at arrival and determine the appropriate level of care needed for each pet.
• Discuss clinic fees and payment options, and answer client questions regarding clinic services and pet care.
• Communicate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians regarding patient status.
• Maintain client information and medical records in an accurate and organized manner.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
