Job summary

Helmwood Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced receptionist to join our general practice team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, and capable of handling multiple tasks with excellent communication and compassion.

Key duties include managing emails, texts, voicemail, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, handling payments, and educating clients about services. Prior veterinary clinic experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing superb professional and personable client services.
• A minimum of 1 year working in customer services is requested.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook experience preferred).
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks confidently, calmly and professionally.
• Interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
