Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Reno, NV is hiring Client Service Coordinators (Receptionists). The role pays $18–$27 per hour, with shift differentials. Veterinary medicine experience is required, and weekend availability is requested.

Multiple shifts include day and overnight options, with additional pay increments for evening and weekend hours. You will be the first point of contact for clients, greeting them warmly, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, professional welcome at hospital entry.
• Listen attentively and communicate clearly with clients over the phone and in person.
• Assess client/pet needs and determine whether an emergency is urgent or standard.
• Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
• Confirm appointments in advance and provide accurate preparation instructions to clients.
• Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
• Serve as liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains.
