Ethos Veterinary Health, Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets in a fast-paced emergency and specialty setting.

The role requires strong customer service experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining meticulous records and compassionate client care. Evening/night shifts include a $5/hour differential and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required; veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and handling unexpected situations.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to outstanding client service.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and pets while providing an exceptional first impression.
• Educate clients and referring veterinarians about our specialty and emergency services.
• Schedule appointments for our multi-specialty hospital while ensuring a smooth client experience.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with compassion and professionalism.
• Manage reminder calls, follow-up communications, and email correspondence.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support specialty and urgent care services.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
