Bodhi Animal Hospital in San Diego, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our growing team. This full-time role features four ten-hour shifts and centers on delivering excellent client service to dogs and cats, ensuring a smooth front-desk experience.

You will greet clients, answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, triage needs, process payments, and maintain digital patient records while keeping the lobby welcoming.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of work experience in customer service.
• Veterinary industry experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office software; familiarity with veterinary practice management software preferred.
• Ability to multi-task while managing high call volumes.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Process end of day cash calculation.
• Comfortable around all companion animals.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, informative client service in-person and over the phone.
• Triaging patient and client needs to appropriate staff.
• Answer multi-phone line, address customer needs, schedule and confirm appointments.
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding needs.
• Client check-in and out; processing payments.
• Conduct cash control.
• Create and maintain digital patient files.
• Ensure lobby is clean and inviting.
• Open and/or close hospital.
• Other tasks as the team and hospital require to support daily workflow.

Compensation:

negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $21 - $23 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
