Riverside Drive Animal Care Center, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Dublin, OH, is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative. You will greet clients, manage calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate with veterinarians to ensure smooth patient flow.

This role emphasizes compassionate communication, accurate data entry, and a patient‑friendly front desk experience in a busy practice serving cats and dogs.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of veterinary services, including vaccines, preventions, and prescription processes (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls with professionalism and efficiency
• Schedule appointments, provide accurate information, and triage calls appropriately
• Greet clients and patients warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
• Maintain clear, compassionate, and effective communication with clients, veterinarians, and team members
• Educate clients on basic veterinary topics, including vaccines, parasite prevention, and online pharmacy use
• Accurately enter and update client and patient information in the practice management system
• Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions
• Assist with prescription requests and coordinate with the online pharmacy platform
• Support workflow by relaying messages and ensuring timely follow-up with clients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby and front desk area at all times
• Monitor and restock retail products, including tracking food inventory counts
• Ensure client-facing areas reflect clinic standards for cleanliness and professionalism

At Riverside Drive Animal Care Center, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, you’ll feel the warmth and openness of a small clinic, while having the opportunity and support of a united network. We are a busy 6-doctor practice in Dublin, Ohio. We are proud to be AAHA and feline friendly certified. Our practice has served as a full-service veterinary medical facility for cats and dogs for more than 25 years. In addition to our core offerings, we provide advanced services such as laparoscopic procedures, acupuncture, stem cell therapy, endoscopy, and specialized geriatric care to support the long-term health and comfort of our patients.

Your Experience & Skills
