Job summary

Innovetive Petcare in Austin, Texas seeks a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our reception team. You will provide friendly patient and client care, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect medical history under the guidance of veterinarians.

This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay ($17.00–$19.00) and benefits. You should be able to lift 30–50 pounds, have a high school diploma, and be available on weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoice payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software
