Job summary

PAZ Veterinary - West in Austin, TX is seeking a veterinary client service representative to join our reception team. You will provide friendly client care, schedule appointments, collect medical history, and coordinate with doctors and technicians to support patient care.

This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage of $17–$19 and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, plus training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software
