Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative at Westside Animal Clinic in Worcester, MA. This full-time role involves greeting clients, handling calls and emails, and ensuring accurate data entry and record maintenance.

You will manage appointments, process payments, and assist with prescriptions while contributing to a welcoming, educational environment for clients and their pets. Compensation ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, based on credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Communicating via phone, email, and in person with clients and actively listening to their concerns.
• Entering client/patient information into computer systems and updating medical records.
• Processing client payments and invoices.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments with patients.
• Dispensing pharmaceuticals as needed and calling in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Carrying out other administrative duties as needed.
