Job summary

VCA Civano Animal Hospital and Emergency Center is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative/Veterinary Receptionist to join a well-equipped practice with a team of veterinarians and technicians. The CSR greets clients, schedules appointments, processes payments, and supports the hospital staff to ensure an outstanding client experience for every pet parent.

Qualifications

• At least one year of proven past experience helping customers.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Compassion for pets and people and empathy for others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Process payments and explain fees.
• Educate clients on general pet care and services.
• Manage medical records and correspondence.
• Support veterinarians, technicians and hospital staff.
