Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. The CSR will be the face of the practice, delivering exceptional service to clients and their pets while handling scheduling, payments, and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary setting.
• Ability to greet visitors, answer phones, and guide clients calmly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail when handling payments, records, and exams.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound follow-up calls and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, and processing payments.
• Recommending products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on pet care and basic husbandry when appropriate.
• Managing medical records, charts and correspondence.
• Maintaining a clean, organized hospital environment.
