Job summary

Lafayette Animal Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the first and last point of contact for clients. You will handle appointments, calls, and client information, while ensuring seamless communication between clients and our medical team.

You'll use our practice management system to update records, assist with billing, and support daily front-desk operations. The role offers a dynamic, team-oriented environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Veterinary EMR systems (Avimark, Cornerstone) preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails promptly with professional, friendly service.
• Schedule appointments based on client needs and veterinarian availability.
• Use technology to send appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-up messages.
• Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Update client and patient records in the practice management system.
• Process billing transactions and insurance claims.
