Job summary

Callaway County Small Animal Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Client Service Representative to provide an exceptional experience to our clients while handling reception, record maintenance, and appointment tracking. Reporting into the Practice Manager, the CSR performs practice administrative tasks to ensure every patient is well-cared for and every client has an outstanding experience.

Pay is $18–$20 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Weekend availability may be required.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Maintains front desk, reception area, waiting area, and exam rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
• Processes cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensures appropriate workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices to clients and performs timely follow-ups.
• Backs up the computer system and posts daily business.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm demeanor and ensures a positive visit experience.
• Answers incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications, instructions, and take-home items to clients.
• Handles emergency situations following clinic policies.
• Addresses client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
